Concept inspiration - Sisyphus was punished in the underworld by the god Zeus who forced him to roll a boulder up a hill for eternity. Every time he nears the top of the hill, the boulder rolls back down and he has to move it again from the beginning. In this sculpture the position of the man is rolling up the boulder.
