Walnut wood carving is one the oldest traditional handicraft of Kashmir. Slowly with time lot of artisans have move out from this age old craft but yet there are few producing these beautiful boxes where you can store jewellery and other small utility items. Specialty of these boxes is that they come with a secret lock which an unknown person will not be able to open.
