Concept inspiration - Sisyphus was punished in the underworld by god Zeus who forced him to roll a boulder up a hill for eternity. Every time he nears the top of the hill, the boulder rolls back down and he has to move it again from the beginning. In this sculpture the boulder is slipping down and the man is trying to stop it.
